Ask HN: Does Google have fixed language results for specific searches?

Was searching for "Pontem Jira" to see some reviews but had a typo and searched for "Potem Jira". The search results came out in Polish (according to Google translate). I went incognito and switched browsers but same results.

How would such a glitch occur? Do they have pre-determined languages for specific words?
