Our client is looking for a Multi-Cloud Microsoft Engineer and/or Linux Engineer to work for their innovative telecommunications company. This position is full time with competitive benefits. The Multi-Cloud Engineer is a senior technology leader that will function as SME for compute technologies, with an emphasis on Multi-cloud technologies.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Design, Install, configure, manage VMWare Cloud Foundation (VCF) - Develop, Configure, and support compute solutions that meet business needs and align with Corning technology standards. - Evaluate all documents according to system requirements and evaluate all design and perform tests on all development activities and administer all complex methodologies. - Supports IT project start up though technical consultation, charter definition, benefit and analysis, requirements gathering and formal PMO approval. - Partners with all members of project team as a technical lead in the planning, design, coordination and execution of comprehensive, realistic and effective work plans. - In partnership with Corning architecture, helps gather requirements, define options and develop holistic integrated solutions to complex business challenges.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
WORK EXPERIENCE - 7+ years of experience in system administration, with a focus on private cloud (VCF) and public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) platforms - Strong experience with DevOps and Cloud native technologies like containers & K8S - Experience with Automation and Orchestration tools like Terraform, Ansible etc. - 7+ years’ experience in a production IT environment managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting services and cloud infrastructure.
