CNCF | SF | REMOTE | Sr. Operations Analyst
The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), part of the Linux Foundation (LF), is hiring a Sr. Operations Analyst to join our team. In this role, the candidate is responsible for increasing satisfaction and engagement of CNCF’s project ecosystem, through development and implementation of programs and relationships that increase overall project and maintainer value.
The Cloud Native Computing Foundation builds sustainable ecosystems and fosters a community around a constellation of high-quality projects that orchestrate containers as part of a microservices architecture. CNCF serves as the vendor-neutral home for many of the fastest-growing projects on GitHub, including Kubernetes, Prometheus and Envoy, fostering collaboration between the industry’s top developers, end users, and vendors.
The ideal candidate will focus on CNCF’s project ecosystem through engagement and outreach. They will be able to effectively advocate for CNCF projects. They will be creative about balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders and constituents and have a passion for improving the project maintainer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage comprehensive project onboarding
Attend monthly project check-in calls
Manage Service Desk requests
Ensure consistency/accuracy of project and maintainer data in various Google Sheets and mailing lists
Design and maintain effective tracking systems for various business needs to ensure progress is made and actions are followed through
Produce quarterly updates on project assistance and status
Ad hoc operational support to Senior Operations Analyst (and broader team)
REQUIREMENTS
Extreme attention to detail
Process-driven with a high level of ownership and follow-through
Ability to understand and operate within complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Personable problem-solver
Operational knowledge of communication tools and office suites, including Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, Excel, WordPress, Confluence, and open to learning new tooling as the need arises.
