Help please - is the California state park reservation system hacked?

Many California state parks use a reservation system that seems to be hacked by malware that tries to install Chrome extensions.

What do HN readers recommend to 1) stop the problem now, 2) protect the website for the future?

Symptom: reservecalifornia dot com is redirecting to try to install something from www dot gogetsplendidapps dot com, and something called "Keep Safe Search". Google reports these as malware.

Thanks in advance for suggestions!
