The monumental Wittelsbacher fountain in the northern part of central Munich, in Bavaria, Germany. The sculpture on the left is of a woman seated on a bull, holding a bowl, and depicts the healing qualities of water; on the right, a man sits astride a horse and hurls a rock, representing water's destructive power.
